Simon Prasad

Simon Prasad is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in Assembly, Integration, and Test (AIT) management. Currently serving as the AIT Group Manager at Astroscale since November 2021, Simon's prior role at Surrey Satellite Technology Ltd (SSTL) spanned over two decades, where responsibilities included leading the DOT-1 Launch Campaign and overseeing multiple AIT/AIV campaigns for satellite projects. Additionally, Simon held various engineering positions at British Antarctic Survey, Aculab, and GEC Alsthom Power Electronics, contributing to development and management in various engineering domains. Simon holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Bradford.
