Simon Walker

Simon Walker is a Defence Space Consultant with an extensive background in the space industry. They served as Team Leader at DSTL Porton Down, where they developed capabilities that gained recognition as ‘world leading’ and implemented vital training programs. As UK Head of Business Development for D-Orbit and Defence Senior Sales Manager at Thales Alenia Space, they led business strategies and fostered collaborations within the military space sector. Simon holds a Master’s degree in Space Technology and Satellite Communications from UCL and a Master’s degree in Physics with Astrophysics from the University of Leeds. Currently, they are engaged with Astroscale focusing on defence space initiatives.
