Feng Zhang

Feng Zhang has been working in the field of Artificial Intelligence since 2004. Feng began their career at the Satellite Environment Center as a Professorate Senior Engineer and Director, where they organized 10 national-level projects in the theory and application of AI. Feng then moved to Alibaba Group Holding Limited in 2015 as a Senior Research Scientist and Manager, where they led the design of a customer 360 view profile platform and established a production-grade recommendation engine. In 2018, they transitioned to Huawei Technologies as a Senior Data Scientist, where they led the design of a knowledge graph platform and used semantic NLP technology to design ontology, entity recognition and resolution, and property enrichment. Currently, they are a Lead Machine Learning Engineer at AstrumU, a human capital innovation company, where they are working to create transparency in the marketplace and use AI for decision making.

Feng Zhang received their Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Computer Science and Geographic Information System from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences between 2001 and 2004. From 1998 to 2001, they obtained their Master's degree in Geographic Information System from Jilin University. Feng also earned their Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information System from Jilin University between 1994 and 1998.
