Candice Phan

Candice Phan is a second-year Sociology student at UC Davis, focusing on Public Policy and Social Welfare. With a passion for the connection between community organizing and policymaking, they are currently the Government Relations Chair for the University of California Student Association and a Cross Cultural Center PEACE Coordinator. Candice has gained valuable experience through various internships, including their role as a City Council District 8 Intern in San José and an Economic Justice Intern with Working Partnerships USA. They aim to use their background in local government and community initiatives to advocate for equitable policies and advance social change.
