Melissa Ryan

Melissa Ryan is the Principal and Founder of Asureti, where they lead the Managed Assurance service line providing compliance, risk, privacy, and security services. They are an engaged and influential leader with foresight and energy to drive efforts focused on enabling client success. In this role, they support organizations in designing and maintaining governance and compliance structures, leveraging these functions to improve business capabilities, deliver value, and drive revenue. Prior to Asureti, they held roles at Deloitte (Manager, Enterprise Risk Services, 2002-2008), Grant Thornton (Manager, Advisory Services, 2008-2011), and Epiq Systems (Director, Internal Audit, 2012-2017), as well as other internal audit positions including Senior Director, Audit Risk & Compliance and Internal Audit Manager. They earned a BA from Kansas State University in 2001 and an Executive MBA from the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2018.
