Andrew Walker

Andrew Walker is a seasoned data professional with extensive experience in data engineering and financial data science. Currently serving as a Data Engineer III at Asurion since September 2021, Andrew has developed sophisticated data pipelines using Google Cloud and Python, built an anomaly detection tool for metric monitoring, and created dynamic dashboards for stakeholder insights. Prior to this role, Andrew worked at IBM as a Financial Data Scientist, where a Python package authored led to the successful forecasting of over $500 million across numerous projects. Andrew's career began at John Deere as a Strategic Analyst, focusing on data consolidation and process automation. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with an emphasis on Quantitative Techniques and Computer Science from the University of Northern Iowa.
