Derek Lyons is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fraud prevention and financial analysis. At Asurion, Derek holds the position of Senior Director, overseeing the development of a new fraud platform that supports over 100 million customers worldwide. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance fraud detection capabilities, managing IT roadmaps, and leading user acceptance testing to ensure compliance and system integrity. Prior to Asurion, Derek served as a Financial Analyst at GiftCertificates.com, where key contributions included budget forecasting, Board of Directors reporting, and the implementation of data warehouse tools for improved business intelligence. Derek holds a Master’s Degree in E-Commerce from Creighton University and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the same institution.
