Jon Dowell

Jon Dowell currently serves as the Director of Legal Counsel at Asurion, a position held since 2024. Previously, Jon held the title of Director of Legal for the OTR Division at WEX from 2016 to 2023, contributing to a publicly traded global payments company that facilitates business-to-business transactions. Prior experience includes serving as Vice President of Legal at Electronic Funds Source LLC from 2014 to 2016, where Jon focused on compliance and regulatory strategies to prepare the company for potential market entry. Earlier roles include Associate General Counsel at Direct General Insurance from 2008 to 2014, overseeing employment law and risk management, as well as an attorney position at Heller Ehrman from 1998 to 2007. Jon holds a J.D. from the University of California, Berkeley - School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Columbia University.
