Maranda Smith-Pyles

Maranda Smith-Pyles is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in finance and program management, currently serving as the Vice President & General Manager at Asurion since December 2016. Prior to this, Maranda held various leadership positions at Asurion, including Sr. Director roles in Client Program Management, Supply Chain Program Management, and Finance, demonstrating a robust understanding of complex operational and financial frameworks. Maranda's career began at GEICO as a Financial Auditor, further establishing a strong foundation in financial oversight. Academically, Maranda holds an M.B.A. in Risk Management & Insurance from the University of Mary Washington and a B.S. in Finance & Information Systems from Middle Georgia State University, supplemented by additional education at the University of Georgia - Terry College of Business and the University of Virginia.
