Mark Romer

Mark Romer has extensive experience in corporate development and strategic leadership, currently serving as Vice President of Corporate Development & Strategy at Asurion since May 2006, where responsibilities include overseeing the mobile applications business and managing P&L as the SF Bay Area site leader. Previous roles include Senior Director positions at Asurion in Corporate Strategy & New Ventures and Products and Business Operations, along with a lecturer position at the Hasso Plattner Institute of Design at Stanford. Additionally, Mark contributed to the Federal Communications Commission's Technology Advisory Council on Mobile Device Theft Prevention and held positions at Good Technology, Siebel Systems, AOL, and Risk Management Solutions. Mark holds an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and both MS and BS degrees in Structural Engineering from Stanford University.
