Melissa Lyon

Melissa Lyon is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in partner and product marketing. Currently serving as Sr. Manager of Partner Marketing at Asurion since April 2022, Melissa previously held the position of Senior Marketing Manager at Sophia Learning, where responsibilities included spearheading go-to-market strategies that resulted in over 100% year-over-year revenue growth. Prior roles include Product Marketing Manager at Capella University, where Melissa focused on enhancing customer journeys and improving funnel conversions, and Marketing MBA Intern at Thrivent Financial, where strategic email campaigns were developed to optimize client engagement. Melissa's early career included sales and membership roles at YMCA of the Greater Twin Cities and Hy Vee.
