Thomas Hoffman

Thomas Hoffman is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in software engineering and platform development, currently serving as Vice President of Software Engineering at Asurion since March 2006. In this role, Thomas leads a team of over 300 resources responsible for the global enhancement and operations of the Device Protection platform, driving technology strategy and execution of major initiatives. Previous positions include Senior Director of Platform Development, where Thomas built a team to replace legacy systems, and Director of Applications Architecture at National Electronics Warranty, Inc. Additionally, Thomas has held roles at Exervio Management Consulting, AOL, Collaborex, Inc., and American Management Systems, contributing to business intelligence strategies, data transformation, and system integration. Thomas holds a BA in Management Science with a focus on Decision Support Systems from Virginia Tech.
