Catherine Waldby

Catherine Waldby is an experienced banking and financial services executive with a diverse background in strategy, risk, governance, and execution across international markets. Currently, Waldby serves as the Program Director for ASX's FSS/CHESS Response Plan and holds advisory roles with Renewable Developments Australia and Ferovinum. Previously, Waldby was MD at Westpac, leading business controls in financial markets, and held various director positions at Citi and Barclays, where responsibilities included operational risk management and enterprise risk oversight. Waldby holds multiple degrees from the University of Queensland and an MBA from INSEAD, alongside a certificate in Sustainable Finance from the University of Cambridge.
