Gary Thomas is an experienced leader, architect, and technology strategist with over 20 years in complex enterprise environments. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at ASX, Gary collaborates with partner teams to define technical direction and mentors engineers to foster an innovative engineering practice. Previously, they held various roles, including Solutions Architect and Development Team Lead at Verifone and Allianz Australia, respectively, where they contributed to significant projects in the payment and insurance sectors. Gary began their career at GEC Plessey Telecommunications, where they engaged in diverse projects across multiple technologies. They are also pursuing an HND in Computer Software Engineering from Staffordshire University.
