Nyree Mkrtchian

Nyree Mkrtchian is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Compliance Manager at ASX since December 2019, Nyree previously held the same title at Westpac from December 2017 to August 2019 and worked as a Senior Compliance Analyst at Macquarie Group from May 2014 to November 2017. Nyree began a legal career at The Australian Securities and Investments Commission as a Lawyer in the Market Integrity Enforcement division, where responsibilities included enforcing the Market Integrity Rules and the Corporations Act, managing regulatory investigations, and contributing to policy development. Nyree holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and a Bachelor of Economics in Econometrics, both from the University of Sydney.
