Bas Velzel is a journalism graduate from Christelijke Hogeschool Ede, holding a Bachelor's degree in Journalism. Currently, Bas serves as an AT5-panel & Onderzoekt contributor at AT5, focusing on researching various city topics and gathering panel insights. Bas also works as an online editor, creating stories and articles for the AT5 website and previously held roles such as news intern, where responsibilities included producing news items for both web and TV. Prior experience includes serving as an editor at Ajax Showtime, crafting original content and reporting on news related to Ajax, as well as working as an online editor for NH Media, writing articles for NH Amsterdam. Bas started in retail as a designer men's fashion sales associate at de Bijenkorf.
