Austin LaRoche is the current CEO at ATAK Interactive. Prior to this, they held the position of Communications Manager at DogVacay from April 2012 to January 2013. While at DogVacay, Austin was responsible for managing and deploying email communications to 80,000+ mailing list subscribers, as well as creating content across multiple social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, the company blog, and newsletters. Austin was also successful in growing the DogVacay Facebook page from 2,000 to 85,000+ likes through strong content creation, FB ad buys, promotions, and FBX campaigns. In addition, Austin researched and tested advertising strategies in digital display ads, radio, outdoor ads, FBX, and B2B initiatives.

Before DogVacay, Austin was the Director of Creative Development at Exacta Group from August 2009 to April 2014. Exacta is a web solutions company that provided visual and social marketing communications, consulting, and education. As Director of Creative Development, Austin was responsible for strategic social media marketing, creation, and monitoring; content creation and copywriting; and business consulting for online operations.

Prior to Exacta Group, Austin held the position of SEO and Social Media Associate at Tribune Interactive from September 2008 to June 2009. In this role, they were responsible for optimizing Tribune’s website for search engines and managing Tribune’s social media presence.

Before Tribune Interactive, Austin was the Executive Director at The Next Stop Foundation from June 2006 to January 2008. The Next Stop Foundation is a non-profit organization

Austin LaRoche has a Master of Arts in New Media Studies from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Florida State University. Austin also has an altMBA.
