Jared Turner

Jared Turner is an accomplished data scientist with extensive experience in the field, currently serving as Principal Data Scientist at Atalan since November 2024. Previously, Jared held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Preston Ventures, where responsibilities included developing advanced survival models incorporating health records data. Prior to that, Jared worked as a Data Scientist at AE Studio, creating machine learning solutions for diverse business challenges, and at Ochsner Health System, where multiple predictive models were implemented into the Epic EMR system. Earlier career roles include serving as Center Director at Mathnasium of Clear Lake and as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at the University of Houston. Jared holds a Master’s degree in Statistics and Data Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from the University of Houston.
