Kathy Butters has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Kathy started their career as a Registered Electrologist at KB Electrolysis in 1991 and worked there until 2020. During their time there, they became well-versed in electrolysis and its effectiveness in permanent hair removal.

In 1998, Kathy joined Atari Interactive, Inc. where they held two significant roles. Firstly, as the VP of Intellectual Property, Business Development & Affairs Group, they successfully negotiated and closed publishing, development, and licensing deals. Kathy also managed intellectual property pertaining to licensee relationships and enforced IP rights. Additionally, Kathy served as the Director of Finance, Publishing Operations, where they were responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and analysis of US publishing operating units.

Prior to their time at Atari, Kathy worked at Papyrus Design Group from 1990 to 1996 as the Controller, General Manager, and Principal. In this role, they grew the studio from 5 to over 100 employees and initiated publishing activities. Under their leadership, the company became a premier racing developer.

Kathy also has experience at Psygnosis, where they served as the Controller and General Manager. Kathy was instrumental in establishing a US development and production studio, handling recruitment and budgeting.

Most recently, Kathy worked at Atari as a Business and Legal Affairs Executive, starting in 2018.

Outside of their roles in the gaming industry, Kathy also owned CryoVigor LLC from 2017 to 2020, where they provided whole-body cryotherapy services.

Throughout their career, Kathy Butters has demonstrated expertise in business development, legal affairs, finance, and operations management.

Kathy Butters holds a Master of Business Studies degree in International Business from University College Dublin. Kathy also has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Salem State University. Furthermore, Kathy Butters obtained a Certificate of Licensing Studies (CLS) from the Licensing Industry Merchandisers' Association (LIMA). Lastly, they hold a Certificate of Medical Electrology from Eleanor Roberts School of Electrology and Newbury College, specializing in the fields of Electrology, Dermatology, Endocrinology, and Bacteriology.
