Richard Dutton

Richard Dutton has a diverse work experience in the software development field. Richard started their career at HMGCC as a Software Engineer in 2002, where they also had a role as an Operational Development Section Manager. Richard managed a team of software and support engineers and provided support and development within an ITIL Service Management framework. Richard then joined Converteam in 2008 as a Senior Software Engineer, specializing in industrial control and automation systems. At Converteam, they designed and developed a Supervisory Control And Data Acquisition (SCADA) system using C#.

In 2011, Richard joined Red Bull Racing & Red Bull Technology as a Software Technical Team Lead. Richard served as the technical team leader, establishing coding practices and evaluating new tools. Richard also regularly represented the Head of Software Development in meetings with senior management.

In 2014, Richard moved to Sports Consultancy as a Software Delivery Manager. Richard led an Agile cross-functional delivery team responsible for the front and back-end systems. Richard'srole involved technical design and development as well as team management. Richard was responsible for maintaining and developing the core legacy business platform.

Most recently, Richard joined ATASS Sports in 2019 as a Senior Software Developer. No specific end date was provided for this role.

Richard Dutton obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Birmingham, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. In 2004, they pursued further education at The Open University, earning a PgCert in Computing for Commerce & Industry, which they completed in 2005.
