Cari Agard

Cari Agard is a seasoned professional in human resources and labour relations, currently serving as a Senior Labour Relations Advisor at ATCO Group since July 2017, following a substantial tenure at the Government of Alberta from July 2008 to July 2017. Cari has held various managerial roles, including Manager of Human Resources Consulting and Manager of Human Resources, where responsibilities included leading teams, providing expert guidance on collective agreements, and managing complex employee relations issues. Notably, Cari co-chaired the Union Management Committee, supported arbitration processes, and played a pivotal role in building HR capacity within the community. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Human Resources Certificate, both from the University of Alberta, as well as studies at Simon Fraser University.
