Kurt Voss

Kurt Voss is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in electrical and maintenance management. Currently serving as Manager of Maintenance and Electrical Safety Codes Officer at Heartland Generation since August 2016, Kurt has demonstrated expertise in collaborating with CSA for field certification of equipment and possesses a deep understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code and Alberta Electrical Utility Safety Regulation. Prior to this, Kurt held various roles at ATCO Power Canada Ltd from July 1998, including Instrument Planner/Scheduler and Journeyman Electrician/Instrument Technician, where significant contributions were made to PM development, daily work scheduling, and team collaboration. Earlier career experiences include positions as Electrical Foreman/Service Electrician at MCL Power and Journeyman Electrician at Plains Electric, along with an apprenticeship at Newland Contracting. Education was completed at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
