Lance Benoit

Lance Benoit is an experienced electrical professional currently serving as Supervisor of Commissioning and Supervisor of HSE Innovation and Engagement at ATCO since September 2023. Prior to this role, Lance worked at ATCO Electric from May 2008 to September 2023, where responsibilities included serving as the Electrical Technologist Operations and Maintenance Team Lead, overseeing the construction and commissioning of HVDC Converter Stations, and leading maintenance and operational initiatives. Lance also gained hands-on experience as an Electrical Technologist, responsible for testing, maintaining, and commissioning high voltage substation equipment. Educational qualifications include a Journeyman Certificate as a Power System Electrician and a Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technologies from the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology.
