Steve Saunders

Steve Saunders has extensive experience in taxation management, currently serving as the Director of Taxation at ATCO Group since June 2009, where responsibilities include overseeing the overall tax function. Previously, Saunders held the position of Director of Tax at Harvest Energy Trust from November 2004 to June 2009, managing the tax function as well as treasury and insurance programs. Earlier in his career, Saunders worked as a Tax Planner at PanCanadian/EnCana from March 2000 to October 2004, focusing on domestic and international tax planning. Educational qualifications include a Chartered Accountant designation in Taxation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants (1992-1995) and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Calgary (1987-1992).
