John Avery

John Avery has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. John served as the Director of the Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC), overseeing operations and facilities. John also worked as a Board Member for the Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance and Midtown Alliance. John was the Owner of Onboard Now and held board positions at the Georgia Tech Research Corporation and Georgia Tech Applied Research Corporation. Additionally, they held various managerial and engineering roles at Panasonic Automotive Systems and Amazon.com. Before that, they were the CTO and Co-founder of Convergence Corporation, which was later acquired by Amazon.

John Avery attended the Georgia Institute of Technology from 1980 to 1986, where they earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree. Their field of study was Electrical Engineering. In addition to their formal education, John obtained certifications in various machine learning courses from Coursera. These certifications include "Convolutional Neural Networks" (obtained in November 2017), "Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization" (obtained in October 2017), "Structuring Machine Learning Projects" (obtained in October 2017), and "Neural Networks and Deep Learning" (obtained in September 2017).
