Chris Kern is a highly experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in system design and programming, currently serving as a Senior Electrical Engineer at Atec, Inc. since December 2017. Kern has successfully redesigned critical systems including the Pressure Test Set System with advanced data acquisition protocols and the RL10 control system rack featuring PID controls for valve operations. Prior experience spans over a decade at Schlumberger as a Senior Surface Hardware Engineer, where Kern designed and implemented a field-tested Electromagnetic Downlink Telemetry system, and at Halliburton as a Surface Hardware Engineer, focusing on FPGA coding and USB design. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from the University of Houston.
