ALETHEIA is a Spanish couture atelier founded by Ayako Yokota and Gavina Ligas, where nature, craftsmanship and contemporary design come together to create timeless garments with purpose.

Guided by the philosophy Wear Nature, every piece is designed and handcrafted in Spain using artisanal techniques, natural dyes and carefully selected natural fibres. Silk, linen, merino wool, alpaca and mohair are transformed through a slow, meticulous process that respects both people and the environment.

Our work bridges traditional savoir-faire with textile research and innovation. Each garment is dyed individually using botanical pigments, making every colour unique, just as no two elements in nature are ever the same. Every detail is finished by hand, celebrating craftsmanship over mass production and permanence over seasonal trends.

From our atelier in Madrid, we create bespoke couture, bridalwear and one-of-a-kind pieces tailored to each client. We also offer the transformation of wedding dresses through natural dyeing and artisanal techniques, extending their story and giving them a second life.

Beyond couture, ALETHEIA is a place for experimentation, education and dialogue. Through workshops on natural dyeing, we share our knowledge and invite others to discover the beauty and possibilities of botanical colour.
