ATELIER MB IS AN AWARD-WINNING ARCHITECTURAL PRACTICE OFFERING CREATIVE AND CONTEXTUAL DESIGN.

Originating in Manchester in 1980, we designed some of the first post-industrial conversions in the city. We’ve been steadily rejuvenating buildings and sites ever since, across Manchester and beyond.

Over four decades our principles have remained constant: imaginative modern design, a respect for the past, and a focus on individual architectural solutions.

Our award-winning practice is a distinctive mix of contemporary architecture and existing character, creativity and craft. We are modern architects. We are also conservation architects. We understand heritage. We also understand commerciality. We don’t categorise ourselves- we just focus on context, character and cleverly designed schemes. Manchester based: UK wide.
