Greg Jas

Greg Jas has a diverse work experience in the field of technical operations and engineering. Greg is currently serving as the Director of Technical Operations at Ateme since April 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Project Deployment and Support Engineer at the same company from December 2019 to April 2023.

Before joining Ateme, Greg worked as a Broadcast Engineer at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from December 2016 to December 2019. Greg also gained valuable experience at DIRECTV, where they worked as an RF Technician and Broadcast Technician from December 2013 to December 2016. In this role, they were responsible for preventative maintenance, operations, and troubleshooting of satellite antenna systems.

Greg's career began in the United States Air Force, where they served as an RF Transmissions Systems Technician from August 2010 to September 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Satellite Communications Systems Technician from September 2007 to August 2010.

Throughout their career, Greg has demonstrated expertise in operating and troubleshooting satellite antenna systems, RF equipment, and broadcast satellite TV equipment. Greg also has extensive experience with various test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, power meters, and signal generators.

Greg Jas began their education in 2004 at Yuba College, where they pursued an undeclared field of study until 2006. In 2007, they attended the Air Force Technical School for a short period, focusing on Satellite, Wide-band, and Telemetry Systems. That same year, they enrolled at the Community College of the Air Force, where they completed their Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Electronic Systems Technology in 2012. Greg then continued their education at the University of Colorado Denver from 2012 to 2016, majoring in Electrical Engineering.
