Benoit BARRIER

Benoit BARRIER has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Benoit began their career in 1994 with Schneider Electric, where they worked in marketing. In 1995, they worked as a Project Manager for FACOM, setting up sales offices in Vietnam. Benoit then moved on to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, where they managed the University of Economics of Phnom Penh and taught classes in finances and economics. In 1996, they joined Ferry Master as the Financial Director, overseeing international financial operations. In 1999, they became an International Controller at Alstom Transport, managing the implementation of financial workflow systems and overseeing budgeting and financial reporting. After leaving Alstom, they founded MaPologne.com, a French social network in Poland with over 2,700 members. In 2012, they started PriceItBuy, the first price social network, followed by Savebook in 2013, a peer-to-peer library management mobile app. In 2014, they co-founded LetEatGo, a platform featuring images of meals and restaurants worldwide. Lastly, they founded Atemis Business Cloud in 1998, a full business management SaaS for international corporations and mid-market companies.

Benoit BARRIER completed their Master's degree in International Business from TBS Education, where they studied from 1992 to 1995. During their time at TBS Education, they also pursued a Master's degree in Business Management/Economy at Université Toulouse 1 Capitole from 1993 to 1994.

In addition to their formal education, Benoit BARRIER has obtained several certifications. Benoit completed a course in "Marketing in a Digital World" from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in August 2021, and another course in "Digital Media and Marketing Strategies" from the same institution in July 2021. In September 2019, they completed a certification titled "Stanford University: The Special Theory of Relativity" from Stanford University. Furthermore, they pursued a certification in "Buddhism and Modern Psychology" from Princeton University in July 2019. In July 2018, they completed a course in "Philosophy and the Sciences: Philosophy of Cognitive Sciences" from The University of Edinburgh. Prior to that, in May 2015, they obtained a certification titled "École Polytechnique & HEC Paris: Créer et développer une startup technologique" from Polytechnique Alumni. Lastly, in April 2015, they completed a certification titled "HEC Paris - Devenir entrepreneur du changement" from HEC Paris.
