Mark Scheitrum has over 40 years of experience in the technology industry. Mark began their career in 1978 with Intel Corp as a Microprocessor Design Project Leader, where they were a member of the architecture definition team for the i80486 Intel processor and co-designer of the world's first 16-bit embedded microcomputers, the i8061 and i8096. Mark then moved to Daisy Systems Corp in 1981 as the Director of Systems Engineering, where they were a member of the founding team and developed workstations that provided the product foundation for the company from startup through revenue of over $50M annually and headcount of over 800. In 1989, Mark joined LSI Logic Corp as the Director of ASIC Engineering, where they developed a successful line of PC and graphics chipsets and architected and led the development of the first industry successful 'single chip' PC core logic component (3M+ Units). In 1992, they moved to CPU Technology Inc as the Vice President of Development, where they developed a rapid design flow around system-level simulation, HW/SW co-simulation and cycle accurate processor models for commercial processors and managed the development of multiple product lines and services for government and commercial customers. In 1995, Mark joined Cadence Design Systems, Inc as the Group Director of Design Services, where they originated and grew system design service delivery capability from 1 (self) to worldwide (U.S., U.K., India). In 2000, they moved to Chameleon Systems, Inc as the Vice President of Systems Engineering, where they directed all system engineering activities for a venture funded re-configurable streaming data processor company. Finally, in 2010, Mark joined Atessa, Inc. as the COO, where they helped system developers meet critical AT requirements and address global supply chain security challenges, and the company reached profitability in Q1 2011.
Mark Scheitrum holds a MS and BS in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Lehigh University.
