Michael Ballback

Michael Ballback has extensive experience in financial investigations and federal law enforcement, currently serving as a Senior Financial Investigator at ATF since September 2007. Previously, Ballback held multiple roles at the IRS-CID from July 2002 to August 2007, including Counterterrorism Coordinator and Supervisory Special Agent, where responsibilities involved overseeing investigations and managing agents in Rhode Island. Ballback's career at the Internal Revenue Service from October 1978 to June 2002 included positions as Special Agent, Revenue Agent, and Taxpayer Service Representative, focusing on criminal violations of the Internal Revenue Code and ensuring compliance through tax return examinations. Ballback holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Iona University.
