Mike Garvey

Mike Garvey, Ph.D., is a public safety executive with a focus on operational solutions in forensic science, intelligence, and investigations. Currently, they serve as the Chief Executive Officer at 1Mission Strategies and as the Deputy Managing Director at the Philadelphia Police Department, where they also lead Forensic Services. They have held various teaching roles as an adjunct faculty member at Prince George's Community College, Temple University, and the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, and they served as a consultant for the Forensic Science program at Drexel University College of Medicine. Previously, they held positions at several federal agencies, including the FBI and the CIA, and they are actively involved as a board member and Vice Chair for the ATF National Crime Gun Intelligence Governing Board.
