Stephen McCain

Stephen McCain has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Stephen is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at ATHENA Consulting since March 2022. Prior to this, they had a significant role in The Goal, where they served as a Finance professional from May 2015 to February 2021 and then as the CFO from April 2016 to March 2022. Before The Goal, Stephen worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where they held various positions including Manager from July 2014 to May 2015, Senior Associate from July 2011 to June 2014, and Associate from October 2009 to June 2011. Stephen started their career as an intern at PricewaterhouseCoopers in June 2008.

Stephen McCain has a strong educational background in accounting and finance. Stephen obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Accounting and Finance from Abilene Christian University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Stephen further pursued their education at the same institution and acquired a Master of Science (MS) degree in Accounting in the year 2009. Additionally, Stephen McCain holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant, which they obtained from the Virginia Board of Accountancy in January 2011.
