Chris Clark is an accomplished actuarial professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across the insurance and financial sectors. Currently serving as Director of Policy Audit at Athene, Chris leads a team focused on validating reserve calculations and data sources within model risk management. Prior roles include Sr. Actuary II at Principal Financial Group, where Chris was instrumental in actuarial governance and assumption management, and VP & Actuary at Reinsurance Group of America, where management of the ALM team and risk management initiatives were key responsibilities. Additionally, Chris has academic experience as an adjunct professor at Maryville University and has contributed to actuarial projects in various capacities since 1992, beginning as an Actuarial Intern at Iowa Farm Bureau. Chris holds multiple Master’s degrees in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, along with a Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science from Drake University.
