John Christopher

John Christopher is an experienced project manager with a strong background in technology initiatives and business transformation. Currently serving at Athene since June 2020, John has previously led critical projects at organizations such as Sammons Financial Group, Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield, and Farm Bureau Financial Services, focusing on business intelligence, claims processing migration, and IT improvements. With a foundational expertise in IT management from earlier roles at Nationwide Insurance and Maytag Corporation, John holds a Master of Business Administration from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business, an A.A.S. in Computer Programming from Des Moines Area Community College, and a B.A. in Biblical Studies from Faith Baptist Bible College.
