Katie Vanner (Matthews) is a finance professional with extensive experience in strategic finance and accounting roles within the insurance and reinsurance sectors. Currently serving as Vice President of Strategic Finance and Bermuda Controller at Athene since September 2019, Katie has progressed through several finance positions including Director, Finance Manager, and Senior Accountant. Prior to Athene, Katie worked as a consultant at Frontier Financial Services and spent nearly two years as a Senior Associate at PwC Bermuda, specializing in assurance for large reinsurance clients. Katie began her career at PwC, where a significant tenure in the Insurance and Investment Management sector included statutory audits for global non-life insurance clients.
