Kim Welsh serves as the Vice President of Government Relations at Athene since April 2022. Prior to this role, Kim held various positions at RGA Reinsurance Company from September 2011 to April 2022, including Vice President and Assistant General Counsel, and Deputy Head of Government Relations starting in 2019. Additionally, Kim was the Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at the Reinsurance Association of America from December 2006 to September 2011. Kim's earlier experience includes serving as AVP, AGC Litigation at Renaissance Re from August 2005 to December 2006 and as an Associate at Chadbourne & Parke LLP from 2002 to 2005. Kim holds a Juris Doctor degree from William & Mary Law School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia.
