Patrick Meyer has an extensive background in tax management and accounting, currently serving as Sr Manager Tax at Athene since January 2015, with previous roles including Tax Manager, Sr Tax Accountant, and Tax Accountant within the same company. Prior to Athene, Patrick held the position of Treasurer at Cross Point UM until May 2015, and worked as Grants/Fiscal Manager at the Iowa Coalition Against Sexual Assault from July 2012 to December 2014, contributing to initiatives supporting survivors of sexual assault. Additionally, extensive involvement in the Greater Des Moines Habitat Young Professionals includes leadership roles as President, VP of Finance, and VP of Membership from July 2011 to June 2014, focusing on affordable housing and community revitalization. Patrick began his career as a Certified Public Accountant at Timmins, Kroll, & Jacobsen, LLP and Latta, Harris, Hanon, & Penningroth, LLP. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from the University of Northern Iowa, completed in 2006.
