Qin Ang

Qin Ang is currently serving as AVP GAAP Tax at Athene since August 2025, following extensive experience in tax management primarily in the financial services industry. Previous roles include Tax Senior Manager, Tax Manager, Tax Senior, and Tax Staff at EY, where responsibilities involved managing tax compliance for SEC and non-SEC clients and conducting research on international tax regulations. Earlier experiences include internships at Crowe Horwath Malaysia and EY, as well as a teaching assistant position at the University of Iowa - Henry B. Tippie College of Business. Qin Ang holds a Master's degree in Accounting with a business analytics specialization from the University of Iowa and multiple Bachelor's degrees obtained through study abroad programs in Scotland and Italy, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Iowa, graduating with a 3.99 GPA.
