Ryan Basu

Ryan Basu is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in engineering and IT management. Currently serving as the Director of Cloud Platform Engineering at Athene since December 2022, Ryan previously held the role of Director of Business Technology at Total Expert from July 2021 to December 2022. Prior to that, Ryan was a Senior Enterprise Solutions Architect at Amazon Web Services (AWS) for two years and accumulated significant experience at Aegon in various roles, including Lead IT Consultant and Lead Infrastructure Security Engineer, spanning over a decade. Ryan's career began at American National Property and Casualty, where diverse roles included Network Engineer and Programmer Analyst. Educational qualifications include a B.S. in Information Systems with a minor in Economics from Missouri State University and an A.A. in General Studies from Hawkeye Community College.
