William Mescher, CRCP®, serves as Senior Counsel for Regulatory Compliance at Athene since April 2020, providing legal support primarily for the broker-dealer and bank retail channel, focusing on third-party contracting and compliance. Prior experience includes roles at Fidelity National Title, where Mescher advanced from Associate Claims Counsel to Senior Claims Counsel, managing complex litigation and mentoring new associates. Additional experiences include legal internships at Nebraska Methodist Health System and Legal Aid of Nebraska, as well as a claims specialist position at Nationwide Insurance. William holds a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business.
