Tom Cecere

Tom Cecere is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various technology and telecommunications companies. Currently serving as General Manager at GWI Vermont since November 2022, Tom leads efforts in providing fiber optic internet services as a contractor for ECFiber and LymeFiber. Previously, as Chief Executive Officer at ValleyNet, Inc., Tom oversaw the development of effective Fiber-to-the-Home networks in Vermont. As Co-Founder, President, and CTO of Athenium Analytics, Tom focuses on risk assessment and quality assurance in multiple sectors. Additional leadership roles include Managing Director at Blackmount Technologies and former COO of Middlebury Interactive Languages. Tom has also held significant positions at Novell and Tally Systems, where responsibilities spanned product management, business development, and marketing. Tom holds a Master's degree in Computer and Information Systems from Dartmouth College and a Bachelor's degree in Math and Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
