Maureen Young

Maureen Young has worked in the supply chain industry for over 30 years. Maureen began their career in 1988 as a Materials Department employee at Lear Corporation, Favesa Trim Operations (formerly a Ford division). In 1994, they were promoted to Distribution and Traffic Manager at the same company in El Paso, TX. In 1995, they were promoted again to Distribution Manager at Lear Corp., Favesa Trim Operations in Melvindale, MI. In 1998, they were promoted to Account Manager and Project Engineer at the same location. Maureen then moved to Sumitomo Corporation of America in 1999, where they worked as an Account Manager until 2010. In 2011, they joined XPO Logistics (formerly Con-way Freight) as a Project Manager and, in 2015, they became a Senior Supply Chain Program Manager at aThingz.

Maureen Young attended Eastern Michigan University from 1982 to 1986, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Language and International Trade with a concentration in Marketing and Spanish. Maureen also attended The University of Texas at El Paso for Business. In June 2015, they obtained a Prosci Change Management certification.
