Shane Taaffe

Shane Taaffe has 12 years of work experience in the finance and IT sectors. Shane is currently the IT Director, Financial Systems at Athora since February 2019. Prior to that, they worked at AIG for 11 years, where they held various roles including Global Program Manager - Finance Transformation, Senior Project Manager - Finance Transformation, Data Team Lead EFT SAP/DSR, Regional F&A Operations Analyst/Projects Manager, and Senior Business Analyst BI.

Shane Taaffe completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce, General at University College Dublin from 1993 to 1996. Shane then pursued a Master's Degree in Management Information Systems, General at the same university from 1996 to 1997. Later on, in 2008 and 2009, they obtained an Advanced Diploma in Project Management from Dublin Business School.
