Stuart Heffernan

Stuart Heffernan is the Group Senior Director of Internal Audit at Athora Group, where they lead diverse internal audit activities and contribute to the strategic development of the organization's business. Prior to this role, Stuart held key positions such as Head of Internal Audit at both Utmost PanEurope and Utmost Group, and served as the Internal Audit Manager at Aviva. Stuart also gained invaluable experience as a Senior Auditor at Irish Life & Permanent and as an Audit Senior at KPMG. Educated at Trinity College Dublin and a Chartered Accountant through Chartered Accountants Ireland, they hold a Bachelor of Science in Management and a GARP FRM designation in Financial Risk Management.
