The Fundação Athos Bulcão (Athos Bulcão Foundation) was created in 1992 and works on promoting, documenting, preserving researching and publicizing the work of the artist after which it is named, further on commercializing multiple copies of his work. The institution, qualified as a Civil Society Organization of Public Interest and declared of public utility in the Federal District, also develops important projects in the area of art education, communications and youth mobilization.
