Ben Eick

Ben Eick, PhD, serves as Senior Manager of R&D at ATI since February 2020, focusing on advanced specialty materials for the aerospace and defense industries. Prior to this, Ben held various roles at BrandWatch Technologies from February 2008 to July 2019, including Vice President of Engineering, where expertise in security taggants and detection equipment was utilized to combat counterfeiting. Ben also contributed as Director of Product Engineering by developing new materials and electronic platforms for identification and as a Materials Engineer, expanding the range of materials offered and enhancing detection capabilities. Ben earned a Ph.D. in Materials Engineering from Purdue University in 2007, following a Bachelor of Science in the same field in 2003.
