John Foltz is currently the Director of Technology - Powder Solutions at ATI Specialty Materials, where they focus on applying materials science to enhance societal benefits such as reducing fuel consumption and enabling clean energy solutions. From 2018 to 2023, they led the largest R&D group at ATI, developing new alloys and collaborating with universities to advance engineering in titanium and nickel-based materials. John holds a PhD and an MS in Material Science and Engineering from The Ohio State University and Michigan State University, respectively, and conducted significant research as a Research Associate at both institutions from 2004 to 2010.
