Francesca Ungaro

Francesca Ungaro, PhD, currently serves as Chief Executive Officer, Chief Data Officer, Head of Data Science, and Senior Data Scientist at Atisfy since April 2020. Prior experience includes a Research Fellow position in Data Science - Particle Physics at The University of Melbourne from August 2015 to April 2020 and a Particle Physicist role at CERN, contributing to the ATLAS experiment from May 2010 to April 2020. Francesca also held a Research Assistant position in Data Science - Particle Physics at The University of Freiburg from June 2011 to May 2015, and a Student Associate role in Particle Physics at INFN from April 2010 to April 2011. A short tenure as a Visiting Researcher occurred at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory in July and August 2009. Francesca Ungaro earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Particle Physics from The University of Freiburg, a Master of Science (MSc) in Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano, and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physics from the same institution.
